How we handle your data
What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to provide membership: your email address, and optionally your name and organisation name (both free text). Nothing else. We do not use analytics that identify individuals. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Knowledge is not paywalled
Everything published, the papers, the framework, the glossary, the essays remains fully readable without an account. Membership gates features, never knowledge. This is policy, not preference: the institute does not paywall the canon.
Your personal library
Bookmarks, notes, collections, saved conversations and diagnostic results are yours. They are visible only to you and to the Administrator. An Editor cannot see your personal data.
Diagnostic results
Your Seven Ages Diagnostic results are stored against your account if you choose to save them. Shareable links use unguessable URLs and strip your organisation name by default, you must explicitly opt in to include it.
Email updates
If you bookmark a paper, you will receive an email when a new version of that paper is published. You can unsubscribe with a single click from any email, or from your account page.
Export and delete
You can export everything, bookmarks, notes, collections, saved conversations, diagnostic results, as a Markdown file from your account page. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time; deletion is a hard delete, confirmed by email, and irreversible.
UK / EU GDPR
This site complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the EU GDPR. Your data is stored securely and processed only for the purposes described above.
